St. Andrew’s Lifestreams

Vision
To be a light in a dark place, that ignorance would be replaced by knowledge and understanding; physical distress by comfort and healing.

Mission
Through God’s grace and truth, we facilitate healing, restoration and holistic health in people’s lives so that people can realise wholeness through a multi – level network of caregivers in the church and community.

St. Andrew’s Autism Centre

Vision
We are guided by the vision that people with autism will one day be able to live alongside others in dignity and worth as God has intended.
We see a future when families with autism members will no longer need to feel apologetic or ashamed on their behalf, for Singaporeans from all walks of life will treat them as they would, their friends and neighbours.

Mission
We are committed to provide a research – informed quality standard of care, education, training and support responsive to each person’s developmental needs and unique demands within a loving family context where wherever possible, and for as long as such services are needed, so that persons with autism may attain their full potential to live fulfilled lives with dignity and maximum independence in an enlightened and caring family and community.
Case for Support The work of St. Andrew's Mission Hospital began with a dispensary at Bencoolen Street in 1913, initiated by our founder, Dr. Charlotte Ferguson-Davie, a medical doctor and wife of the first Anglican Bishop of Singapore. More healthcare services followed. Over the years, the work of the Mission has had expanded and evolved so as to minister not just to the physical well-being but also to the emotional, social and special needs of the community and of our times.

Our current works include St. Andrew’s Community Hospital, St Andrew’s Autism Centre, and St Andrew’s Lifestreams.

The work of St. Andrew's Mission Hospital will not be able to span over ninety years without the strong support of friends, well-wishers, churches, corporations and foundations. We look to your generous partnership to serve the needy in our community.
