Vision and Mission The Cat Welfare Society is a charity that aims to promote a humane, responsible and informed society in Singapore where cats are cared for responsibly as pets and treated with kindness as community cats.

We actively promote sterilisation as a vital personal responsibility of a cat owner and an effective means to control our community cat population, instead of destruction.
Case for Support “Savings lives through sterilisation”

Our sterilisation programme has seen 20% increase every year to positive results - the stray cat population has been more than halved since its introduction and culling rates has been reduced from a high of 13,000 cats per year in the past to below 4000.

There is still much to do. The Cat Welfare Society also works closely with all 16 Town Councils and relevant government authorities to resolve cat issues in an effective and humane manner.

Our dedicated network of caregivers are at the frontline in rescuing and caring for community cats and engaging communities across Singapore. They need your support to continue to provide and promote effective humane solutions for an entire nation.

The Society depends on membership subscriptions, donations and fund-raising activities for our sterilisation and community education projects. Our work is carried out almost entirely by volunteers so all the funds received will go towards making life better for community cats.
